MBA students from across the country will descend upon the Caesars poker room Jan. 15-17 for a chance to win thousands and test their poker skills and school spirit against MBAs from top schools.

“This is an important networking and recruiting event for the MBA candidates and our recruiting team,” said Brad Warga, vice president of talent acquisition, Harrah’s Entertainment. “MBA poker players tend to think quickly on their feet and be quite quantitatively apt — two attributes highly coveted by businesses.”

In 2009, the prize pool totaled over ,000 with over 600 MBA students and alumni from some of the United States’ best universities taking part.

This year’s MBA tournament will again donate a portion of the proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association and Cleveland Clinic. In its first four years, the event has raised ,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
